It’s easy to be a “good person.” Humanity has learned how to play the part. We’ve mastered behavior, image, and knowing how to conform to whatever environment benefits us most. But true goodness is deeper than performance. It’s rooted in the posture of the heart.

Are you kind because you genuinely value people, or because kindness gets you access to what you want? Do you smile in front of people, then roll your eyes once they’ve served their purpose? Do you see human beings as souls or simply as opportunities?

A good heart is revealed in what excites you. Is your joy only connected to what you can gain, acquire, or consume? Or do you find fulfillment in loving, serving, honoring, and caring for others even when there is nothing to gain in return?

Character is not just who we appear to be publicly. It’s who we are when there is no reward attached.

Do you know how much stress is attached to the wrong heart posture? #hearthealth
